Under Construction

The C.H.A.M.P Project

The CHAMP project is a three-year funded programme, with total project cost of £319,288. The project was awarded £203,515 funding from the National Lottery Community Fund [NLCF].

This is an ambitious development for IMPACT Northeast to develop and extend the reach of their services across Sunderland and to provide an improved, accessible and responsive service to the exponential need for mental health and well-being support from communities.

This demand was exasperated by the pandemic to levels not seen previously. NHS Sunderland reported a 50% increase in demand for services over that period.

Snap shot Project performances

I am so happy you referred me to Impact NE, after only a few sessions I feel totally listened to and the counsellor has helped me understand some of my behaviours,

They have mentioned I may have ADHD and after talking this through, it was like a "light bulb" moment for me. Every symptom related to me and I cant describe how that made me feel. For the first time in my life, I now understand why I feel the way I feel and act at times and I am so grateful of the counsellors support.

I look forward further sessions but now feel I am on the right course of treatment to help improve my life.

Thank you so much Lovely feedback about your service 😊
